Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Site Patrol in Adelanto, CA. You will protect clients across Tech/Media/Telecom settings with routine patrols, deter incidents, and deliver strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $26.00 per hour. You must be at least 21, hold an armed guard card and a CA weapons permit, and pass background and drug screening. CPR/First Aid are preferred.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license required.
• California weapons permit with 9mm endorsement required.
• At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, maintaining awareness of site-specific requirements and applicable armed post procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a California weapons permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
