• Monitor for suspicious activity and deter crime with a professional presence.
• Document incidents and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

• 21+ Years of Age
• Active Armed Guard Card/License
• Valid Driver's License

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, vendors, and shoppers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including armed response duties in accordance with applicable laws, training, and site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the grocery retail location, including sales floors, entry and exit areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, theft-related concerns, unauthorized access, and policy violations, helping to deter criminal activity through a professional presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
