Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer in San Antonio, TX to safeguard a financial institution. You will monitor areas, patrol, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering strong customer service.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour. You will follow site policies, respond to emergencies, and document activities for leadership.

Qualifications

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintaining awareness of authorized personnel, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
