Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• Armed Guard Card or License.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• At least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Willingness to participate in industry-specific training.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and entrances to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; report suspicious activity to leadership and responders.
• Maintain patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports as required.
