Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 21 years old.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Armed Officer experience required.
• State armed security license and eligibility to carry a firearm in your state.
• CA BSIS Guard Card with 32hr trainings; CA Exposed Firearm Permit; CCW can be advantageous.
• Past law enforcement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Patrols assigned areas and remains vigilant for suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure zones.
• Respond quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check alarms and cameras for proper function.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during emergencies.

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

What’s In It For You

• Site Location: Torrance, CA
• Schedule: 16-40 hours per week
• 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm
• Friday - Saturday, 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm; Sunday, 11:00 am - 7:30 pm

Responsibilities Of Tactical Armed Security Guard

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications Of Tactical Armed Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• You are at least 21 years of age
• First aid certification is an asset
• Must have a valid driver's license
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have CPR certification
• You have at least 2 years experience as an Armed Officer
• You have a state issued armed security license and meet any additional requirements to carry a firearm as a security officer in your state.
• You have a CA security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
• You have a CA Exposed Firearm Permit
• Has a CCW
• Must have current or past law enforcement experience
