Allied Universal is seeking a part‑time armed Security Officer for Retail Patrol in San Antonio, TX. The role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Responsibilities include customer service, armed patrols, incident response, and adherence to post orders and regulatory requirements. A Level III Armed Certification in Texas and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security‑related experience, or a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following post orders and emergency procedures.
• Maintain readiness and handle authorized equipment in accordance with company policy, client requirements, and applicable laws.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to store management and responding authorities.

As a Armed Security Officer - Retail Patrol in San Antonio, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat05:30 PM - 11:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
