Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Staten Island, NY. This role offers a fixed shift with the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain hands-on experience in a security environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Must possess a valid law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, contractors, and visitors at ferry terminals, vessels, and adjacent facilities.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of terminals, docks, boarding areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized access; report suspicious activities or hazards.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations with calm, clear communication.
• Maintain and operate authorized equipment; complete accurate activity and incident reports.
