Job summary

Ochsner Health in Lafayette, LA is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard patients, guests and staff. Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in Security, law enforcement, or military.
• BLS from the American Heart Association is required.
• IAHSS Certification to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of practice and clean DMV report.
• CPI and firearms training required.

Responsibilities

• Enforces all company safety and security rules and policies.
• Conducts routine inspections of on-site and off-site locations.
• Investigates accidents and incidents and reports findings.
• Performs opening/lockdown of buildings as approved by Administration.
• Participates in emergency response and related drills.
