Job summary

Allied Universal, Ladson, SC, is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Property Access to protect a manufacturing/industrial site. You will provide customer service, perform armed patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

The role requires 1 year of armed security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 21+ years old. Background checks and a drug screen are required; CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• Armed security experience: 1 year minimum.
• Security-related experience: 1 year.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by policy.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly per site protocols.
• Conduct armed patrols throughout facilities, interiors, grounds, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, report unauthorized activity.
• Document patrols and incidents in reports and inform site leadership.
