The role requires 1 year of armed security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 21+ years old. Background checks and a drug screen are required; CPR/First Aid preferred.

As a Security Officer Armed - Property Access in Ladson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and respond professionally to site needs. Pay Rate: $24.86 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial facilities, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and security-related concerns.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
