As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will communicate professionally, respond to situations with integrity, and contribute to Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and team-focused culture.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, medical emergencies, and workplace concerns in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain required documentation, including incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity records, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
