Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for Train Fare Enforcement in Denver, CO. You will patrol transit facilities, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service to riders and staff.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:40 AM - 11:40 AM
• Thur 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Fri 03:40 AM - 11:40 AM
• Sat 04:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Sun 03:40 AM - 11:40 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or transit personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established reporting and notification protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, vehicle staging areas, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and public areas, observe and report suspicious activity, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate transit resources.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain required documentation, and coordinate with transit personnel and law enforcement as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of Military Police, Corrections Officer, armed security-related, or certified law enforcement graduate experience.
• Possess 1 or more years of security-related experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• Provide a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a Police Academy Certificate, or a Corrections Academy Certificate.
• Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
