Allied Universal in Anderson, SC is seeking a Security Officer Armed – Plant Access to safeguard client facilities across logistics and distribution campuses. You will perform regular armed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while maintaining a professional, welcoming environment.

This full-time role pays $17.00 per hour with day-evening schedule as listed: Mon02:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Tue02:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Wed02:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Thur02:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Fri11:30 AM – 05:30

Qualifications

• Armed security experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Armed guard card/license required or preferred.
• Must be at least 21 for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of interiors, perimeters, loading docks, and parking areas to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and notify appropriate personnel.
