Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed - Plant Access in Pendleton, SC. This part-time role involves patrolling a manufacturing site, maintaining a visible security presence, and delivering strong customer service to employees and visitors.

Pay rate is $15.50 per hour with a day/night schedule. The position requires 18+ years for unarmed work, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Licensing may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to the appropriate personnel when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and completely in required reports.
