Qualifications

• Armed security experience (security, law enforcement, or military) is required.
• Armed guard card or license is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required as a condition of employment.
• All Allied Universal applications may be reviewed in compliance with applicable laws regarding criminal history.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, members, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including offices and parking areas, to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and suspicious activity in a calm, problem-solving manner following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries per site requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
