Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Monroe, LA. You will monitor a financial institution, provide customer service, and deter incidents through visible armed presence. An Armed Guard Card/License is required, along with a background check and drug screen.

This full-time position offers weekly pay, with a 6:00 AM–2:00 PM schedule Monday through Friday and a pay rate of $16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least one year of armed security-related experience.
• Armed guard card or license.
• 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, members, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including offices, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and suspicious activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
