Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer in Charlotte, NC for a financial institution site. You will patrol, deter incidents, and respond to emergencies while delivering professional customer service.

The role welcomes candidates with military, law enforcement, or criminal justice backgrounds and requires a valid armed guard credential when applicable. The position is full-time with daytime/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• Armed Guard Card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter.
• Operate security equipment in line with policies and training.
