Allied Universal in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Patrol Presence for a part-time role at a healthcare facility. You will patrol, deter incidents, respond to emergencies, and provide courteous customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

The role requires an Armed Guard Card or License, at least 6 months of armed security experience, and being 21+. A background check and drug screen are required; a high school diploma is required.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat06:30 AM - 05:30 PM Sun06:30 AM - 05:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare facility.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with site-specific requirements and maintain accurate incident and activity documentation.
• Carry and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site-specific post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
