Qualifications

• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and contact appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access points to deter unauthorized entry and report suspicious activity.
• Carry and maintain assigned security equipment per Allied Universal guidelines.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. As part of our caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will collaborate with others and act with integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff.

What You\'ll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized entry, theft-related activity, and policy violations.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal requirements, applicable laws, and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or armed security experience
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver\u2019s license will be required for driving positions only.
