Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to designated areas, verify credentials, and track visitor/vehicle activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain documentation of patrols and incidents.

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Polkton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report irregular conditions.
• Monitor and control access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of visitor and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
