Job summary

Strategic Security Corp. is seeking an Armed Security Guard to protect people, property, and assets across government, corporate, retail, or commercial environments.

You will maintain an armed presence, follow post orders and use-of-force policies, and respond to security threats and emergencies. Responsibilities include patrols, monitoring CCTV and access control, deterring criminal activity, and preparing detailed incident reports while upholding SSC’s G.E.T.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess a valid State Armed Security Guard License/Card.
• Must possess a valid firearm permit and meet all state/local firearms requirements.
• Successful completion of armed security/firearms training.
• Must qualify with assigned firearm as required by SSC and state law.

Responsibilities

• Conduct armed security patrols on foot or by vehicle.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
• Prepare accurate, detailed written incident reports.
• Control access and egress points; verify authorized entry.
• Observe, deter, and respond to threats or criminal activity.
• De-escalate situations verbally when possible and safe.
• Notify law enforcement and coordinate for emergencies as required.
