Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation and drug screening will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations and actions.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas; deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and report irregularities to site contacts and leadership.
• Maintain equipment, complete required reports, and follow armed-post procedures and use-of-force guidelines.
