Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Fairfax, VA. The role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, and is designed to provide reliable hours with flexibility toward a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities include patient, visitor, and staff security; incident response; armed patrols; access control; and accurate reporting to leadership. Minimums include security experience and relevant licenses.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• Virginia DCJS License is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity.
• Document incidents and communicate to leadership and site contacts.
