Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Armed Concealed Carry Patrol) in Kent, WA. The role involves patrolling a wire and cable distribution location, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and responding to emergencies with professionalism.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, issuing reports, and providing excellent client service while following site-specific post orders.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization per site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
