Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization per site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols throughout an industrial location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism and sound judgment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel, and support a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $35.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat - 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun - 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a wire and cable distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery activity; verify authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
