Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Background checks and a drug screen are required by law; driving positions require a valid license.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific requirements; document observations, incidents, and unusual activity.
• Carry assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures, and maintain required credentials and training.
