Job summary

Allied Universal, the leading security and facility services company, seeks an Armed Security Guard for a courthouse in Ventura, CA. This part-time role offers a fixed night shift schedule and the opportunity to serve government facilities.

You will patrol, monitor access, deter incidents, and respond to emergencies while delivering excellent customer service. A valid driver’s license and two years security experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A valid driver’s license is required where the job is located.
• Background check and drug screen are required by policy.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at government facilities by following security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for visitors, vendors, and personnel.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain activity logs for patrols and incidents.
