Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience required.
• A valid driver’s license required in the state.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Armed roles require 21+ age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and the public while following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to government property and assist with visitor entry per site policies.
• Prepare clear reports and activity logs of incidents, patrols, and interactions.
