Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer (Armed Patrol Route Driver) in Nashville, NC. You will provide customer service, conduct armed patrols, verify access, and report incidents while maintaining a visible security presence.

Responsibilities include monitoring restricted areas, responding to incidents, and ensuring logs and credentials are accurate. A valid armed guard card/license and driver’s license are required, with eligibility to work at least 21 years old.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Armed guard card/license required.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background investigation conducted per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to facility staff, residents, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility grounds, buildings, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and property logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site procedures; complete clear and timely incident reports and shift documentation.

• Wed 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
