Job summary

SENTRYSIX International is seeking an Armed Security Officer to provide physical security, inspections and entry access control at designated locations in Bozeman, MT. This role supports government and commercial clients with a focus on safety and vigilance.

Responsibilities include guarding, roving patrols, event security and screening, with shifts available for both day and night. Applicants must meet licensing and background requirements and be able to work in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years verifiable experience in U.S. Military, corrections, security and/or Law Enforcement.
• US Citizenship or eligible status required.
• Must be able to obtain required security licensing in Montana.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal guard services including entry control points, roving patrols and armed escort guard services.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests, residents, employees and contractors.
• Provide security for special events.
• Provide roving mobile patrols within designated areas.
• Screen vehicles and personnel at entry control points.
• Protect equipment and personnel.
• Maintain weapons qualification and proficiency with assigned weapons and non-lethal weapons.
• Work up to 12 hours in austere conditions including extreme weather.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal guard services to include but not limited to, vehicle and personnel entry control points, internal roving patrols and armed escort guard services;
• Provide excellent customer service to guests, residents, employees and contractors in the communities and facilities we serve;
• Provide security for special events;
• Provide roving mobile patrol services within designated areas;
• Provide screening services of vehicles and personnel at entry control points;
• Protect equipment and personnel;
• Maintain weapons qualification on assigned weapon systems;
• Maintain proficiency with Non-Lethal Weapons;
• Perform internal security guard services, at any potential internal security posting, for up to 12 hours, often in austere conditions to include extreme heat, cold, wind, dust, rain or snow;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• US Citizen or Eligible for Employment in the United States
• Must have a valid US Driver’s License
• A minimum of 21 years old.
• Must have a minimum ofThree yearsverifiable experience inU.S. Military, corrections, security and/or Law Enforcement.
• Must be able to obtain required security licensing in Montana
• Must have clean criminal history and able to pass a pre-employment background investigation
• Honorable discharge from the military (if applicable)
• Employment with SENTRYSIX is contingent upon a favorable background investigation
• Able to don all required personal protective gear.
• Qualify and maintain proficiency with all assigned weapons.
