Job summary

Centene is seeking an armed security professional based in Clayton, MO, working onsite with a 6:30 AM–2:30 PM CST schedule. Responsibilities include controlling access, managing visitors, and responding to emergencies to protect employees, tenants, visitors, and property.

Must hold an armed security license and pass licensing requirements. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and diverse work arrangements across remote, hybrid, field, or office setups.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of security, public safety or related experience required.
• Prior law enforcement/military/first responder experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide polished customer service experience to all employees, tenants, and visitors while maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
• Operate visitor management software to document proper access, egress, and ensure host contact for visitors and guests.
• Operate applicable physical security systems for access control, visitor management, emergency response notification and CCTV.
• Provide precise directions for facility navigation and assist during emergencies.
