Job summary

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in New Orleans, LA, you will monitor and protect commercial real estate locations, respond to incidents, and maintain a visible presence to deter security issues. Position Type: Full Time.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour. You will perform regular patrols, provide excellent customer service to tenants and staff, and adhere to post orders and policy

Qualifications

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at commercial real estate locations.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following post orders and reporting requirements.
• Monitor access to assigned locations, observe activity, and document incidents, hazards, and unusual conditions through clear and timely reports.
• Maintain proficiency with and responsibly carry assigned authorized equipment in accordance with laws and Allied Universal policies.
