Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Armed Security Officer for a New Orleans, LA location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, control access, and provide professional customer service to tenants and visitors.

This role requires an armed guard card or license, a high school diploma, and the ability to work the listed night and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Armed guard card or license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and authorized personnel by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at commercial real estate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, access points, common areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, verify credentials as required, and document visitor activity, patrol observations, incidents, and other security-related information in accordance with site policies.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and follow all applicable laws, Allied Universal procedures, and site-specific requirements related to armed post duties.
