Qualifications

As a Armed Security Officer - Municipalin Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. • Mon07:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue07:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed07:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur07:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri07:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government services location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document activities and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Maintain required armed post qualifications, equipment, and professional conduct standards while following applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
