Allied Universal is hiring an Elite Security Officer for the Bastrop, TX area. This full-time morning shift role involves patrolling and safeguarding a technology/media/telecom site, with a focus on customer service and incident response.

Pay rate is $30.00 per hour. Expect a strict schedule Mon-Sun during day hours, with responsibilities including access control, incident response, and documented patrol activities. Allied Universal emphasizes training, growth, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience as a Military Police Officer, Corrections Officer, or Armed Security Professional, or be a Certified Law Enforcement Graduate.
• Armed Guard Card or License required.
• Type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, potential hazards, and security-related concerns; document patrol activities and incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain readiness and professional handling of assigned equipment while working in varied indoor and outdoor conditions.
