Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is hiring an Armed Security Officer (Part Time) in Bastrop, TX. You will monitor site areas, perform armed patrols, and provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while upholding our values.

Qualifications

Three or more years of experience as a Military Police Officer, Corrections Officer, or Armed Security Professional.
Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
Type at least 40 words per minute.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation required by law.
Drug screen may be required.
Participate in security training programs.
Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, following site procedures and laws.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, report suspicious activity or policy violations to site leadership.
Maintain armed post qualifications and complete accurate activity and incident reports.
