Job summary

Allied Universal in Temple, TX is seeking an Armed Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver. In this role you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, deter incidents, and provide professional security presence at a retail location.

You must hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas and a valid driver’s license, be 21+, and pass background and drug screens. The position offers full-time hours and a pay rate of $19.50 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store team members by performing security procedures and responding to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with store leadership and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and high-value areas, reporting suspicious activity and policy violations.
• Maintain incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity records per Allied Universal policies.

As a Armed Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Temple, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and represent Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and integrity-driven culture.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM


• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM


• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM


• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with store leadership and emergency responders as needed.


• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Monitor customer and employee activity, access points, and high-value merchandise areas; report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and hazards according to site procedures.


• Maintain required documentation, including incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity reports, while handling assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
