Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Location Response in Glendale, AZ. You will protect government facilities, perform armed patrols, and provide exceptional customer service while enforcing site policies.

The role requires an Armed Guard Card/License, a minimum of one year in armed security, and a background check. Shifts are Monday through Friday with day hours, and pay is $23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed Guard Card or License required.
• 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public at a government services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and assist with visitor screening and entry procedures in accordance with site policies.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for incidents, patrols, access activity, and other security-related observations.

As a Armed Security Officer - Location Responsein Glendale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This armed post requires an Armed Guard Card/License.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.


• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
