Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Location Response in Glendale, AZ to protect government locations and deter incidents while delivering professional customer service.

The role requires an Armed Guard Card/License and at least 1 year of armed security or related experience. This full-time position offers competitive pay and benefits, with a schedule Monday through Friday during daytime hours.

Responsibilities

As a Armed Security Officer - Location Response in Glendale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity. This armed post requires an Armed Guard Card/License.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

• Mon 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM
• Tue 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM
• Wed 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM
• Thur 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM
• Fri 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public at a government services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and assist with visitor screening and entry procedures in accordance with site policies.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for incidents, patrols, access activity, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
