Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Armed Patrol in Mineral Wells, TX to protect patients, staff and visitors in a healthcare setting. You will patrol designated areas, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service.

Role requires a Level III Armed Certification in Texas, vaccines, and a valid driver’s license for driving posts. The schedule includes daytime and weekend shifts with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Vaccines are required for hospital positions.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas.
• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access-control procedures, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and documentation for incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
