Allied Universal in Columbia, SC is seeking an Armed Security Officer to protect patients, staff, and visitors in a healthcare setting. This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies while maintaining a professional, courteous demeanor.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, and surrounding grounds to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry as required, and assist with visitor direction and wayfinding.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal procedures.
