Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Full Time in Orangeburg, SC to protect patients, staff and visitors at a healthcare site. You will patrol assigned areas, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professionalism and courtesy.

The role requires an armed guard card, at least 6 months of armed security experience, and a valid driver’s license where applicable. This full-time position offers competitive pay ($17/hour) and benefits, with opportunities for training

Qualifications

Valid armed guard card or license.
At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation required; subject to drug screen.
Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following site procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures.
Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with appropriate personnel.
Carry equipment per laws and policies; complete incident reports.
