Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Guard for a full-time patrol role in Atlanta, GA. You will provide professional security coverage, monitor access, and respond to incidents at government locations, ensuring safety and compliance with post orders.

Applicants should have at least one year of armed security-related experience, a HS diploma or equivalent, and be prepared to undergo background checks and drug screening. CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following security procedures and post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and disturbances calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of government buildings and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials as directed.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate observations to leadership.
