Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer in Atlanta, GA. This full-time position focuses on safeguarding personnel and property, patrolling facilities, and enforcing site rules.

The role requires strong communication, incident reporting, and incident response abilities; 21+ years old with 3 years armed security experience is preferred. Starting base pay rate is $20.06 per hour, with benefits including health insurance and 401k.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experience.
• Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by state)
• Excellent communication skills; able to articulate and write clear incident or situation reports
• Able to complete all range qualifications and functions

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure protection of people, assets, and information
• Preserve order and enforce rules and directives for site viability
• Maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment and weapons
• Greet guests and employees; escort visitors and contractors; secure ingress/egress points and classified information
• Follow site-specific manuals and post orders; report safety concerns and incidents
• Respond to alarms; act as a first responder and provide first aid as necessary
