Qualifications

At least 1 year of security-related experience.

Background check and drug screen required.
Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following security procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and emergencies calmly and report observations.
Conduct regular armed patrols of government facilities, patrol routes, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry per site procedures.
Coordinate with appropriate personnel and law enforcement when needed.
