Job summary

Constellis in Radford is seeking an experienced armed security officer to safeguard personnel, visitors, and government property at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant. The role is union-covered with both full-time and part-time schedules. Five weeks of mandatory training precedes a flexible schedule determined by contract needs. You will patrol, respond to incidents, enforce regulations, and maintain weapon proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be US citizen.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must pass Physical Agility Test (PAT) and annual medical exam.
• Must obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical security at Radford Army Ammunition Plant and respond to incidents.
• Patrol facilities by foot and vehicle to deter unauthorized activities.
• Maintain weapons proficiency and comply with safety and regulations.
• Report unusual or emergency situations and apply appropriate level of force.
