Job summary

Allied Universal in Miami, FL is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Armed Associate Degree Patrol to serve government facilities with a visible presence and exceptional customer service.

The Armed Guard Card and a degree or 60 college credits are required, along with a background check and drug screen. This is a driving post with a schedule including Thursday through Saturday shifts, paying $22.26 per hour.

Qualifications

• Armed guard/protected-site experience preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Able to work in a government facility.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and the public by carrying out site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and report concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations following established protocols.
• Prepare clear reports regarding patrols, incidents, and policy violations.
