Job summary

GardaWorld Federal Services is seeking an Armed Security Guard to provide high-level security at a USCIS facility. The role involves maintaining a visible presence, controlling access, screening visitors, and handling incidents in accordance with ASC procedures.

Guards typically work on-site in two-person teams. Candidates must have two years of armed security experience, possess handgun licenses, pass suitability checks, and be able to communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English proficiently.
• Minimum of two years of armed security experience.
• Must own and possess a registered 9mm or .45 ACP handgun.
• Must possess an active State Security Guard License for the post state.
• Must possess an active State Firearms License for the post state.
• Must maintain firearm qualifications and CPR/First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous access control and screen visitors.
• Conduct facility checks and monitor surveillance systems.
• Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
• Document all activities, incidents and breaches in reports.
• Enforce security protocols with agency personnel and visitors.
• Maintain proficiency with screening devices and equipment.
• Comply with all regulations and post orders.
• Coordinate with the partner guard and Regional Security Manager.
