Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Armed Protective Patrol in Daytona Beach, FL. You will perform regular armed patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents at a government location while delivering strong customer service.

The role requires an active armed guard card/license, a high school diploma, and completion of security-related training. The position is full-time with a daytime and night shift schedule and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participation in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be needed prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government facility buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, while maintaining professional interactions with employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities.
