Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer in Santa Teresa, New Mexico. You will perform armed patrols, access control, CCTV and alarm monitoring, and respond to emergencies with professionalism and strict adherence to security protocols.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, an armed guard card/license, and necessary certifications. The role requires 1+ years of armed security or related experience, 21+ years of age, and strong communication in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current driver’s license if driving a company or customer owned vehicle.
• Licensing requirements are state/local dependent and may be required prior to employment.
• Must possess or obtain: First Aid/CPR/AED, firearms qualifications, NWDTP certification, OC/Baton/handcuffing, defensive tactics.
• Minimum of two years armed security experience OR two years US military service OR one year of armed civilian law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed security and protection for people and property.
• Conduct armed patrols and monitor CCTV and alarms.
• Control access and respond to emergencies per protocol.
• Document incidents and communicate safety concerns clearly.
• Greet visitors and assist as needed; patrol facility on foot or vehicle.
